Gather the family together, bundle up and get ready to enjoy this family outing at the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch.
 
Load up on one of our horse drawn sleighs and enjoy a scenic ride to the tree lot. There you will pick out a fresh cut locally grown Christmas tree. Then gather the family and your tree and ride the sleigh back to the lodge where you will be served fresh popped popcorn, hot chocolate, and coffee.

Jan 30   AUDITION NOTICE: Missoula Children's Theatre
Auditions for Missoula Children's Theatre production of 'The Pied Piper'

This opportunity is brought to you by the Pend Oreille Arts Council and Litehouse, Inc.

There are roles available for students in grades K-12. Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Directors.

There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition should arrive by the scheduled starting time and plan to stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 30 minutes after the auditions.

It is a group audition - no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts. They should just be ready to come and have a good time!

Rehearsals will be conducted every day, January3 1 - February2 , from 3:30 to 7:30 PM at Farmin-Stidwell Elementary School, and February 3 at the Panida Theater - full dress rehearsal (time TBA). Although not all cast members will be needed at every session those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the auditions. Cast members scheduled for the full 4 hours of rehearsal will be asked to bring a sack lunch, supper or snack.

The public performances of MCT's 'The Pied Piper' will be held at the Panida Theater( 300 North First in Sandpoint) on Saturday, February 4 , at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Ticket prices are kept low to ensure the best possible attendance by parents, family, friends and the community-at-large. Adult tickets are $10, youth under 15 are $5, per performance.

Tickets for the perfomances are available now at the POAC office in the Power House building, Suite 215. Tickets will be available two weeks prior to the performances at POAC's Sandpoint satellite ticket outlets:

Eve's Leaves (326 North First Ave),
Eichardt's Pub (212 Cedar Steet), and
Winter Ridge Natural Foods Market (701 Lake Street).

Missoula Children's Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Missoula Montana. This coming year nearly 50,000 cast members across the globe will take to the stage to the delight and applause of their families, friends, community, neighbors and teachers!

The residency in Sandpoint is made possible by the Pend Oreille Arts Council and Litehouse, Inc., with funding in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Idaho Commission on the Arts, and other private foundations.
